View from Ko'Olina's Lagoon 3 looking toward the mountains....The sun was setting and I could hear Marriott’s Luau music just around the bend. What a indescribable feeling I get when painting the gorgeous mountains against the jewel toned sea and the sweet tidal pools upon the rocks!

FIND 3 love words, and "Be Strong and courageous" inscribed in oil. This windy sunny day at Waimanalo Country Farm was hot and beautiful. There is a petting farm on the site and baby pigs were born that day! The sunflowers were dancing around in the wind and the view of Olamana mountain was a bonus to include. Hawaiian landscapes are so very full of Gods beauty, it never ceases to amaze me.

Haleiwa Boat Harbor, 24 x 12 on cradled wood and framed in a floating Bombay mahogany wood custom frame
This piece was painted on a beautiful warm Hawaiian day, as I watched the boats move out of the harbor. the old boat house stood the test of time and seemed to watch over the harbor as I painted the boats bobbing up and down against the dock. The Kahala mountain faintly stood in the mist of the background.

It started with a cloudy day with with a bit of sun shining through. I took on the challenge to paint the bridge and all because I love the life that surrounds the water and I wanted to see if I could capture the essence of the calm Saturday morning riverside in Haleiwa. Then I felt the joy of a a few paddle-boarders.... one with even a large dog on board! as they calmly paddle up the river, I had to include them.

Oh how beautiful the coral was glowing against this magnificent backdrop of the Koolau mountain range and chinaman's hat. I was amazed at Gods little colorful touches He adds to this scene of natural beauty.

It started with a beautiful sunny day with calm torquoise waters lapping on the shore. I looked for shade since I would be there for hours painting. Then I saw the strong shadows of the trees standing tall against the bright teal colored waters and sunny sand, and claimed my spot. A family came down and set up their blanket with a cute little girl all dressed in pink, she was a sweet little thing and so well behaved, I had to include her.
